Tracking Football – Multisport Participation
Athletes need competition year round. The best way to accomplish this is by participating in DIFFERENT sports for the school during each season. Kids benefit athletically, socially, and mentally when they get involved in different sports. Keep encouraging your kids to participate as much as they can!
Watching Football
We are teachers of the game, and we are fans of the game. As coaches we find ourselves watching football quite a bit, but we also find ourselves learning from it and taking things from it to help benefit our players. Whether it is a play, technique, or the way a coach handles and organizes his team, we see something we like and we try to implement it. Enjoy watching the games that are left and keep learning!
Planning for Next Season
Finishing one season means that we begin readying ourselves and our teams for the next season as soon as possible. There is a saying that if you keep doing things the same you, then you can expect the same results. I for one want to do as my part to make sure we improve on our results from last year and will look for ways this off-season to update and improve upon how I coach my team.
