Alex Kirby got his start in coaching at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, IN, working as an offensive assistant. After several years of working in the high school ranks, he joined the staff at Indiana State University, first as an offensive intern, then as the video coordinator for the next two seasons, spending two seasons working with the offense, and his final season working with the defense. He currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he works as an author.
You can get his latest book, a play-by-play breakdown of the National Championship game between Oregon and Ohio State by clicking here.
I discovered Alex on Twitter which made me explore his blog. Throw Deep Publishing is full of wonderful insight into the game of football. He gives coaches the opportunity to interact and guide some topics, and uses his skills as a video coordinator to break down the game of football and provide his readers with extensive insight into the game.
Alex is hosting #txhsfbchat on June 3rd. I hope you enjoy what he brings to the chat.
