Installing Your Offensive and Defensive Systems
Part of organizing your program is how you install your offense and defense with your coaches and players. Whether you use a playbook or not, there is a rhyme and reason for what you put in and when you put it in. After that its about making sure the players and coaches understand the concepts and can execute them with repetition after repetition after repetition. There are many great uses of technology that makes getting the information to the team easy, but in the end its about what works best for the program.
Athlete Buy-In
Our programs are built with athletes that want to be there for one reason or another. While we have them under our influence it is our duty as coaches to sell ourselves and our program to our athletes. In order to be successful on and off the field they must believe in us and the program we are all working to build.
