MaxOne – Your New Digital Director of Football Operations

There’s a lot going on when it comes to technology and innovation in the sport of Football. Coaches and athletes are always looking for an edge, and new technologies are continuously coming into play. It’s important for coaches to realize this, and to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

At TXHSFBCHAT, we take pride in spotlighting some of the latest and greatest technologies that could be impactful for you as coach. MaxOne, we believe, has direct applications for football coaches and athletes at all levels. We liked what we saw, so we reached out to the MaxOne team to find out what makes their platform one of the most innovative in Football.

Here’s what we found:

MaxOne is an all-in-one coaching app with a wide range of functionality to help football coaches lead a better program. The platform is built to essentially be a Director of Football Operations that keeps track of all of the details for you – including off & in-season training, team communication, and overall program organization.

In-Season Strength & Skill Workouts

Every good coaching staff has an in-season workout program in place; the challenge is motivating the athletes to push themselves, on top of a demanding in season schedule of practices and games. MaxOne makes it possible for coaches to compile a video library of drills and exercises that instruct athletes in the precise way the activities should be executed. It also motivates athletes to engage like never before.

As a coach, you can populate your account with your own personal drills or upload videos already offered by linking them to your account through Youtube or Vimeo.

Athletes can then access their own MaxOne accounts via a mobile app to view and execute the workout for the day as instructed, and record their performance. Results are posted in real time on a team and global leaderboard. Coaches can identify how athletes stack up against one another on their own team, and against other MaxOne athletes around the world.

Messaging, Calendar, and Scheduling

Great coaches are professional communicators and this is more important during the season than ever. MaxOne has built-in calendars to stay organized and help communicate with your program’s coaches, athletes, and even parents in seconds through its messaging app. You can create separate, color-coded schedules for different groups within the program, and these schedules only appear only on the calendars of those they impact. For those coaches who use spreadsheets to log team contact information, the MaxOne app stores and organizes it all for you in a much more efficient way.

Coaches Corner

We know sharing information and collaborating across a coaching staff is critical for building consistency and momentum within a Football program. It can also be challenging, and many coaches express an interest in finding a better way to do it. We really appreciated the “Coaches’ Corner” tool from MaxOne that allows for uploading videos, PDFs or image files directly to an account, and to share those items across all coaches within the program. The tool helps coaches to communicate effectively and efficiently across the entire staff.
